Partnerning for Change 2010
With over 220 in attendance at the 2010 Partnering for Change Fundraising Dessert, IAP was able to raise just over $54,000 which includes matching funds and pledges for future contributions through 2010. These funds will be directed to the Letta Microfinance Institute and distributed as microloans. In addition, pledges were made for substantial future contributions beyond 2010 to IAP & Letta MFI.
With the average microloan given hovering around $350 USD, we can rejoice knowing that over 150 new loans will be given in Ethiopia. Families will start small business and the grip of extreme poverty will be broken!
We praise and thank God for this event which honored and glorified Him. We also thank all who worked so diligently in planning the evening.
